In 2000 TSF built a model orphanage where quality nutrition, medical care, hygiene and compassionate child care are standard. Children are admitted without regard for clinical status, such as HIV, hepatitis,syphilis, cerebral palsy, congenital anomalies or severe malnutrition, With many children now 3-5 years of age, a major 2004-5 project has been establishing a preschool at Roteang, with the help of two US volunteers who have trained Cambodian women to run it.
