Chhan Rithy
was abandoned to Cham Chao as a young boy and has grown up there. Anyone
who has been to the orphanage will likely recall his handsome, smiling
face and his clear membership in the "family" there. For the
last several years, he has been sponsored for six days a week at the local
English school. Now he is 17 and anxious to learn a skill that will help
him find a job one day. In February, the foundation began sponsoring his
training at a school in Phnom Penh for computer skills and intensive English.
This $20 a month grant from TSF is offering a fine youngster a bright
future otherwise not available.
